Premik Russell Tubbs in Cinema Arts Centre

Premik Russell Tubbs will usher in spring with the 1st of the SERIES OF 6 at the Cinema Arts Centre.
Premik, an accomplished composer & multi-instrumentalist, performs on various flutes, saxophones, wind synthesizer, and lap steel guitar. He has worked with Carlos Santana, John McLaughlin, Sting and Billy Joel along with many others.

Premik this evening will be joined by 5 incredibly talented NY musicians. Pianist J. Eric Johnson has composed and recorded on numerous TV and Films. Has toured with classical, jazz, rock, dance and pop acts in 44 Countries. His favorite pastime is to sit at a piano and improvise for hours. Pianist & composer Marianna Rosett combines classical music with improvisation to create a new musical language of enormous beauty. Leigh Stuart is a versatile cellist who thrives on performing music from a wide range of styles and genres, and has appeared with artists such Beyonce, Jay-Z, the Mahavishnu Project, the Fireworks Ensemble, Savion Glover and many others. Drummer/percussionist Todd Isler who has performed with many great musicians including Dave Liebman, Mino Cinelu and Mark Murphy, is among an elite group of modern players who brings an innate grasp of world rhythms to jazz. Special guest for this night is 12 year old guitar prodigy Jonathan Bodian.
