Seung-Hee Quintet will be performing Seung-Hee’s originals from upcoming recording, ‘Sketches on the Sky’ and the latest recording, ‘Waiting’ by SoRieN Productions. A trumpter/co-producer of ‘Sketches on the Sky’, John McNeil describes her as a vocalist/composer who displays her Korean heritage in the timbre of her voice and the quality of some of her melodies. Her voice has a light, haunting quality that can also be quite robust.
