Steve Sandberg Trio at Soapbox Gallery

Three-time Emmy-nominated pianist/composer, Steve Sandberg, along with bassist Michael O’Brien and drummer Rudy Royston, will perform two live-streamed concerts in early 2021 from Brooklyn’s Soapbox Gallery. Sandberg’s concerts will mix performances from the solo piano repertoire (Chopin, Ravel, Bartok, Liszt), with his trio’s expansive improvisations based on those works, and drawing from Latin, African, Balkan, and East Indian traditions. Sandberg grew up playing classical piano and is a longtime student of Seymour Bernstein.
