SYZYGY New Music at Le Poisson Rouge

When Hurricane Sandy put a damper on plans for Danielle Eva Schwob and Sxip Shirey’s forthcoming chamber orchestra concert, their next move was obvious: postpone the orchestral performance and in the mean time invite some of their most talented friends to perform in support of local storm relief efforts. A variety show to end all variety shows, Danielle & Sxip’s Hour of Charm: Hurricane Relief features performances by the two composers themselves, Todd Reynolds, Ned Rothenberg, Corn Mo, SYZYGY and other special guests. All proceeds from the event will go towards hurricane aid.
