"Under Contractions", released August 2014, is Tal Gur's critically acclaimed 3rd album which have reached #4 on CMJ's Jazz Chart and received many warm reviews.
The starting point of the composition is a birth of an idea which is a consequence of non inspirational vacuum. It develops musically throughout the next pieces as the band uses contemporary improvisational models to build the primary motif, alongside reconstructing meaningful events in life such as birth of a child, migration and perspectives over ongoing war situation.
