Teri Roiger Birthday Bash! at Cafe Bohemia

New York based Teri Roiger has been making music all her life and over the years her music has taken many exciting twists and turns. Teri is primarily a jazz vocalist, who plays piano, composes music and writes lyrics. The depth of her experiences and love of jazz is apparent when she brings all of her talents to a live performance, the recording studio, and in her compositions.

Teri has been an integral member of the SUNY New Paltz Jazz Program (New Paltz, NY) for over fifteen years. She teaches Jazz Voice, the History of Jazz, and Vocal Jazz Ensembles.

In the summer of 2011, Teri and John, along with Dan Leader, created an ongoing jazz festival/series in Woodstock called JAZZSTOCK, bringing great jazz artists to the Hudson Valley.

Teri latest release ‘Ghost of Yesterday’ is her fourth recording as a leader. Since Ms. Holiday provided the initial spark that led to a lifelong commitment to jazz, this one is especially personal to Teri. With ‘Ghost of Yesterday’ Kabir Sehgal stated, “The multi-faceted brilliance of Billie Holiday is served up sizzling hot by the multi-talented Teri Roiger.”
