As part songwriters’ round and part rock & roll inspiration/support group, The Backscratch has been bringing together artists and listeners in New York City’s Greenwich Village since 2009. Four featured performers, playing their songs, telling their stories… with surprise re-interpretations of each others’ compositions at the end of the evening. Proceeds benefit organizations assisting marginalized and vulnerable communities
