Ben Flocks is a saxophonist, composer, and educator from Santa Cruz, California. A former Brubeck Institute Fellow, he has performed at the Kennedy Center and the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. with Dave Brubeck. Ben has also performed with Joshua Redman and Yosvany Terry, and recently kicked off the 2010 Monterey Jazz Festival with his own group featuring Javier Santiago, Chris Smith, and Cory Cox . Currently, Ben is finishing his undergraduate studies at The New School, and is a mentor at the Stanford Jazz Workshop in the summer.
