About
The Jazz Ensemble is Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music's premier big band. Performing a wide variety of styles, including traditional swing, bebop, post-bop, fusion, Latin, and avant-garde, the ensemble places special emphasis on great composers like Thad Jones, Bill Holman, and Bob Brookmeyer. Through its composer residency programs and regular concerts, the band has performed with artists like Maria Schneider, Slide Hampton, Eddie Daniels, Kenny Garrett, and Ahmad Jamal.
