The Yosvany Terry Quintet, with special guest Pedrito Martinez, will premiere selections from Yosvany Terry's newest release,Today's Opinion (Criss Cross),at Jazz Standard on April 10 and April 11. Music lovers at the Jazz Standard performances will be offered inspired musical statements in a cool, tight-knit small band arrangement led by Yosvany Terry, the acclaimed jazz saxophonist who was lauded by the New York Timesas a musician who has "helped redefine Afro-Cuban and Latin jazz as a complex new idiom."
