The Jake Walker Quartet featuring Arthur Neilson and Greg Gumpel presents:
Two Kings: A Blues Guitar Extravaganza Honoring The Legacy of Freddie and Albert King
The Setlist:
Selections from two classic 1960’s LP’s, one from Freddie King (Let's Hide Away And Dance Away With Freddie King, 1961, King Records), and one from Albert King (Born Under A Bad Sign, 1967, Stax), plus two of Jake's originals strongly influenced by each.

Improbably, some casual live performances of Jake that were recorded from a mixing board during a jam session at a Manhattan club received hundreds of thousand of plays on MySpace. This led to him being named Artist of The Month at Big City Rhythm and Blues Magazine, and two tours in Holland. These recordings also caught the attention of famed record producer and engineer Eliot Mazer (Neil Young, Janis Joplin, The Band) who signed Jake to his fledgling label, Leftturn Records. Jake’s first studio album, Confidence Man, was released in 2008. Jake has toured extensively in Europe since 2006, and has headlined many overseas music festivals. He is thrilled to present this tribute to two of his favorite blues guitarists, who have been life-long sources of inspiration to him, as they have been to many other musicians and fans....
