Francesca Prihasti / Nic Vardanega Quartet at Williamsburg Music Center

Indonesian / Australian jazz pianist and guitarist and now based in New York City, Nic Vardanega and Francesca Prihasti are the voices on the international jazz scene. They have studied with the likes of Peter Bernstein, Adam Rogers, Wayne Krantz, Alan Broadbent, Kevin Hays, Ari Hoenig, Drew Gress, and Mike Rodriguez, Nic and Francesca have also recorded together alongside Ulysses Owens Jr, Rodney Green, Orlando Le Fleming, Marco Panascia, Drew Gress, Alan Ferber, Dave Pietro and Mike Rodriguez. With each being an established composer in their own right, their music draws from a wealth of original material in addition to a deep knowledge of the jazz tradition, which they render with fresh modern interpretations. They will return at Williamsburg Music Center , presenting compositions from their recorded releases as well as some more recently composed material....
