Furmi Gomez (1981) is a saxophone player from Barcelona (Spain) living in New York City (U.S.A.). Furmi has been playing saxophone for more then 20 years. He graduated with Masters and Bachelors degrees at the Royal Conservatory at The Hague (The Netherlands). There he fostered what became one of the most successful jazz clubs in the country, playing from the beginning weekly gigs for years. Although Furmi is most specialized in Jazz music, he has performed and recorded in projects of varied music styles such as rock, fusion, ethnic, pop, latin, and classical.
