Herbie Mann Induction at Brooklyn Historical Society

Tuesday, April 1st, 5:30 PM, at the Brooklyn Historical Society, 128 Pierrepont Street in Brooklyn Heights section of the borough will host the Brooklyn Jazz Hall of Fame ceremony. This year musicians Herbie Mann and Bill Lee will be inducted. Mann’s Brazilian “son” Romero Lubambo, jazz guitarist extraordinaire, will accept the award on behalf of his widow Janeal Arison. Live music and refreshments are part of the festivities.
