The May performances in this series will explore improvisation and musical languages. The first group of improvisers is led by Jackson Moore and will explore Moss, a musical pidgin language that he has designed. The group will include trumpeter Vance Provey, has long career working with avant jazz musicians including Milford Graves, Bill Dixon, Bill Frisell and Stephen Haynes. He will be joined by Dick, Lamb, and Schneider. ...
