Douglas Bradfordโs The Longest Day of the Year
New York based guitarist and composer Douglas Bradford was born in New Orleans, and currently resides in Brooklyn. His debut CD โ:atlas obscuraโ was released on Fresh Sound New Talent Records in May 2012.
The Longest Day of the Year is a new work about the stages of Winter, in five parts, for clarinet, cello, guitar, and drums, which premiered last year on the summer solstice at Douglass Street Music Collective. Chris Speed, clarinet; Christopher Hoffman, cello; Douglas Bradford, guitar & compositions; Nick Anderson, drums.
