A national jazz treasure, Jimmy Heath joins the powerful WP Jazz Orchestra in a program of his arrangements of his original compositions. The ageless virtuoso tenor and soprano saxophonist has played with a who's-who of jazz greats, including Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, Gil Evans, and many others. Heath returns to the Shea stage as part of his valued relationship with the WP jazz studies program.
