Vocalist/composer/arranger Sachal Vasandani is set to perform a six-night residency at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola in New York. The engagement, Vasandani’s first of that duration, will also mark his 25th performance date as a leader in New York City. He will be performing alongside jazz icon Jon Hendricks for the series, which is titled Generations in Vocal Jazz. Supporting the two vocalists on the bill are pianist Jeb Patton, bassist David Wong and drummer Clarence Penn.
