Joy on Fire play an exciting blend of rock and jazz called fuzz-jazz. Formed in 2009 by jazz saxophonist and Peabody graduate Anna Meadors.

A soaring sax, and exotic percussion adds some swing to the group’s Zeppelinesque stomp.

Bass player Matthew Garrison, son of Jimmy Garrison (bass player for John Coltrane), is the co-owner and creative director with his business partner, Fortuna Sung.
