Lapis Luna, one of New York City's premier vintage jazz bands, continues their residency at the famed Plaza Hotel on Thursday nights in the Rose Club. Featuring vocalist Shawn Aileen Clark, the band plays standards, obscure swing-era songs, a retro inspired latin music in a gorgeous and relaxed lounge setting. With John Merrill on guitar, Chris Pistorino on bass, Brian Floody on drums, plus a bi weekly rotation of guests including Tom Beckham on vibraphone and Chris Byars on tenor and alto saxophone.
