In this 35th Anniversary Performance, John Zorn and Laurie Anderson celebrate the Centennial of The New School. In addition to a duo performance with Zorn on sax and Anderson on violin, voice and electronics, the show will celebrate the 35th anniversary of John Zorn's Cobra, which originally premiered at Roulette in 1984. Cobra is one of the most celebrated works in new experimental music, and the landmark work within the genre of "game pieces". With an all-star lineup and with Zorn himself acting as prompter, this performance of Cobra promises to be a special one.
