FEATHERY presents original music, with strong emphasis on musical communication, free improvisation, instant compositional decisions. The goal of this project is to blur the lines between musical composition and spontaneous intention. All players are profoundly experienced and have a long history of stellar jazz performance, which enables the quartet to create outstanding musical results. The album is getting top-rating reviews in All About Jazz, NYC Jazz Record, Down Beat Magazine, Chamber Music Magazine, as well as abroad: France, Switzerland, Italy, UK, Germany. Feathery quartet is planning a European tour in the spring 2019.
