Marco Sanguinetti has been considered by both local and international press as the creator of "a new jazz genre". His last album "8" (released on CD and vinyl edition) led him to be selected as the Best Composer of 2013 an annual survey of Argentine jazz journalists. Sanguinetti and his band opened for The Bad Plus’ concert in Argentina. His album "8" was nominated for the 2014 Latin Grammy Awards. In September 2016 he released his fifth album: "Como desaparecer completamente", which revisits the music of Radiohead.
