"Strictly For The Birds" is an evening of jazz and song inspired by our feathered friends. When I created this set it was strictly for fun, as well as an amusing way to pay homage to my vocal heroine, Carmen McRae, who put out an album in 1958, "Birds of a Feather." Now, the recent news that North American birds are disappearing at an alarming rate, puts another, more urgent spin on it. So please come out for an evening of swinging jazz, as well as an opportunity to honor of the creatures who give us so much auditory and visual pleasure
