In the mid 60's, the Clark Terry/Bob Brookmeyer Quintet recorded three highly-acclaimed records featuring Clark's virtuosic, exuberant flugelhorn and trumpet playing and Bob's compositional approach on the valve trombone, anchored by a strong rhythm section and unique compositions.
