On September 26, Roulette presents Mutual Aid Music in prolific jazz trumpeter and composer Nate Wooley’s Four Experiments, celebrating a new box set out on Pleasure of the Text Records. Wooley performs alongside seven other talented jazz musicians, showcasing the Mutual Aid model in which the musicians innovatively incorporate improvisation into the work. The result is a beautiful, experimental show that gives Nate Wooley “an obvious star quality” (The New York Times).
