EVOLUTION is a band driven by the vision of Saxophone player Nick Gianni. It formed in 2005 coming out of Downtown NYC's vibrant music scene honing its sound at Nublu, Ave C's late night hotspot. It's musicians are not only versed in Jazz but also World Beat, Dub, Punk and Electronica styles. EVOLUTION came together organically as all its members had been playing together in different projects. They combined their musical talents and experiences to EVOLUTION in order to create a unique sound all their own.

NICK GIANNI is a multi-instrumentalist raised on a steady diet of music. Throughout his career Nick has recorded/performed with Dr. John, Gato Barbieri, Jessie Harris, Marshall Allen, Karl Berger, Luther Thomas, Kenny Wollesen, Daniel Carter, Hugh McCracken, Chris Parker, and Brazilian Girls. While touring throughout Europe and Australia, he performed on festival stages and appeared on Good Morning Australia and MTV Europe. Nick appears on recordings ranging from classical to rock, jazz, hip-hop/R&B, house/electro, and world music.
