Argentine-born Pedro Giraudo has been hailed as one of the most creative and daring composer/bandleaders on the jazz scene today. Downbeat Magazine’s John Murph calls his music ““An opulent listening experience of modern orchestral jazz, brimming with passionate improvisations, contrapuntal melodies, and plush harmonies ." The band has performed regularly in the most prestigious jazz clubs in the New York City area, including the Jazz Standard, Birdland, the Jazz Gallery, Joe's Pub, as well as abroad. Their latest ßCD, “Córdoba,” (Pedro’s 5th as leader) on the ZOHO Music label, was released this past June, and won in four top categories of Latin Jazz Corner's "Best of 2011."
