Besides touring with Spalding, Leo also plays with a loosely assembled group called the Chromatic Gauchos, whose core members are Bob Gulloti, Dan Blake, and John Lockwood. This group, together with Spalding and percussionist Sergio Miranda, plays an important role on "Seeds." Although Leo is early in his career, he hopes that his music can be more than just entertainment, but also a force for positive change in a world facing economic, social, and political challenges. "I want my music to be something worthwhile and helpful to people," he says. "There are so many people in the world who are in need. I hope to raise awareness of the different circumstances that people face every day, and to inspire people to take positive action. Good intentions can make all the difference, and music is no exception. If it comes from a good place, it can bear good fruit."
