FourOneOne

FourOneOne is a nonprofit organization supporting performance. We focus on live events in an intimate space devoted to an informal and transformative relationship between performer and audience. We support historically aware and rooted performance practices that blur the dominant aesthetic and social categories that marginalize communities and their creative lives. We are committed to providing an equitable and open space for New York’s many audiences to engage with multiplicity and alternative approaches to time and space. Together with this community, FourOneOne seeks to walk backwards into the future.
