About

Project Grand Slam is a Jazz Fusion band founded by Robert Miller (bass, composer) in 2007 and later re-formed in 2014 with Marcello Casagrandi (keyboard), Nathan Cepelinski (saxaphone), Ben Sher (guitar) and Joel E. Mateo (drums). The New York based band has been playing some of NYC’s most iconic jazz venues such as, The Iridium, The Cutting Room and B.B. King Blues Club and Grill. Their live performances feature other worldly improvisations that transport you and engulf you with a jam-band essence. Project Grand Slam will be playing songs from their new album - Made in New York, including the band’s single, “New York City Groove” and their recent release of Jim Hendrix’s track “Fire.”
