Pre-show Discussion with Jimmy Heath, Music Director and Conductor of the Queens Jazz Orchestra @ 7:30 PM

A musical homage to Charlie “Bird” Parker and Dizzy Gillespie; the two men most responsible for creating the Bop Bop vernacular and changing the way Jazz musicians approached improvisation.

This concert is dedicated to the memory of Paul Ash, a longtime Flushing Town Hall supporter and sponsor.
