School for Improvisational Music

The School for Improvisational Music (SIM) is a core group of professional musician/teachers committed to creating a school for emerging performers who want to pursue a serious study of improvised music. Currently, few educational options exist for such performers. Our long-term goal is to create a center (CIM, or the Center for Improvised Music) that serves as an umbrella for two connected projects: the school and an artists' retreat.
