A 6-week, 5-college-credit, tuition-free intensive jazz program for New York City public high-school students as part of the York College Summer Jazz Institute. Workshops, master classes, and concerts are also free and open to the public in limited numbers.
Directions: By SUBWAY: E train to last stop, walk east on Archer Blvd. (keeping the LIRR on your right, turn right on Guy. R. Brewer Blvd. By CAR, take Van Wyck Expwy to exit 4 (Liberty Ave.) and go east on Liberty Ave. about a mile, then turn left on Guy Brewer Blvd. Park in the lot surrounding the Performing Arts Center.
