Manhattan Bones features the unique instrumentation four trombones (doubling on alto trombone, alto flugelhorn and didgeridoo), along with a three-piece rhythm section. The ensemble, led by Scott Reeves, include some of the top-call musicians in New York whose experiences include work with the Dave Liebman Big Band, the Toshiko Akiyoshi Orchestra, the Mingus Big Band, Woody Herman, Pat Martino, Jim Hall, John Abercrombie and the Vanguard Orchestra.
