Soul Science Lab's “Soundtrack ‘63” reflects, renews and remixes popular musical classics that gave context to the Civil Rights Movement, highlighting the revolutionary year 1963 with new arrangements.

The live music breathes new life into the sights and sounds that shaped the music of a revolution! Soundtrack ‘63 is an incredible cultural and artistic experience that takes you on a journey from the continent through milestone events in African-American history using compelling images, video, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Soul and poetry. Soundtrack '63 also features exclusive commentary from Dr. Cornel West and poets Sonia Sanchez and Abiodun Oyewele of The Last Poets and a 3-screen multi-media installation of video and images. The musical ‘edutainment’ theater style presentation is designed to connects generations with the richness of the African-American experience through the music that defined the era.
