About "Roots" project:
Folk music is like a treasure box filled with many great melodies. My mission here is to take Japanese melodies and arrange them into something different, aiming to give a little surprise with a new perspective.
Jazz violinist, composer, Tomoko Omura's 2nd album "Roots" was released on Inner Circle Music in 2015.
The night, the group will feature, Jeff Miles (guitar), Glenn Zaleski (piano), Yoshiki Yamada (bass), Jerad Lippi (drums) and will present some of the newer arrangements.
