In this workshop designed for guitarists of all levels who find themselves stuck or uninspired in their practice routine, Ian Faquini presents innovative concepts to develop freedom and intimacy with the fretboard. Students will explore visualizing and hearing melodic minor and major scale modes in a more natural and organic way, as well as experimenting with an extensive harmonic palette to develop sensibility in search of a deeper personal style. Ian will also discuss accompaniment techniques for different genres and group formations, as well as chord-melody and solo guitar styles.
