A melodically inventive musical adventurer who artfully employs pedals, amplifiers, circuit bent toys and sundry effects around his acoustic piano set-up, Benevento has forged a fascinating repertoire of songs by the likes of Leonard Cohen, Led Zeppelin and Beck, interspersed with his own wildly original compositions.
