About
Drummer/educator Paul Yonemura comes to the California Jazz Conservatory with one of the three trios from his new CD release, "Reunion Trios" on Girod Records. This concert is not just a celebration of the music on the CD. It is also a celebration of life, since Yonemura is a cancer survivor, which was the inspiration to do "Reunion Trios", with some of his favorite musicians. Reunion Trio #2 will include the fabulous pianist Frank Martin and a rare West Coast appearance by the incredible bassist David Dunaway.
