Join us for the return to Berkeley of SUZY WILLIAMS, who began her career here in the early 70's at The Starry Plough Pub singing on tables and passing her coffeepot for tips. From this local Irish Pub to Carnegie Hall, Williams has grown to be one of the best interpreters of Bessie Smith, receiving high praise from Eubie Blake to Chris Albertson (Bessie Smith's biographer) to many seminal blues & jazz critics.
