For our final show of the spring season, the Siskiyou Institute brings a new and innovative group of musicians to southern Oregon with John Stein & The Mingotan Project on Saturday June 1.
The original music this group presents represents a variety of musical styles like jazz, klezmer, and original melodies, fusing them with Afro-Argentinian sound colors & rhythmic feels for dancing like tango, milonga, candombe, chacarera, zamba, chamamé, huayno, landó, festejo, etc.
