Mike Greensill at The Old Siskiyou Barn

The Siskiyou Institute Presents for the first time at the Old Siskiyou Barn, West Coast Live pianist Mike Greensill & vocalist Wesla Whitfield along with the Ed Dunsavage Trio featuring Joe Cohoon & Chicken Hirsh.
Originally from the U.K., Mike has been the house pianist on the NPR program West Coast Live with Sedge Thompson for the past 16 years. He has also been musical director to acclaimed vocalist Wesla Whitfield with whom he has recorded twenty albums.
Wesla Whitfield is a remarkable singer, with a deep love for that rich storehouse of musical treasures often identified as The Great American Popular Songbook. She has been developing her skills and learning her demanding craft for a number of years - by her own estimate, it’s been ever since she “knew at age two-and-a-half that I would grow up to be a singer.”...
