NATE NAJAR is one of this decade’s finest modern jazz guitarists. Nate’s newest album, Jazz Samba Pra Sempre, pays homage to Charlie Byrd and Stan Getz. It has been 60 years since the release of Jazz Samba, the 1962 landmark album that launched Bossa Nova in the United States. Nate pays homage to the groundbreaking album with a reimagining of those iconic seven tunes. Daniela guests on two tracks, Gilberto’s classic “O Pato" and Barroso’s “É Luxo Só.” The results are as dreamy as they are exhilarating.
