Powerhouse vocalist Katrina Mena Rick partners with the locally acclaimed Julian Bond Trio to present “Dreams Come True” – a celebration of jazz, bossa nova, and Cuban music.

This show will take you on a musical journey of songs that inspired Katrina as a young girl to pursue her dreams as a singer. The daughter of Cuban exiles, it was through artists such as Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Sergio Mendes and Astrud Gilberto that Katrina was able to find her musical identity and connect to the culture her family left behind. Katrina’s dynamic range and sultry tone can be heard singing in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
