Fans of our Thursday Night Hang series may recognize John from his many appearances there. Chris Cortez, owner of the Blue Bamboo, invited him to host his own concert event after being impressed with his playing. John has an accomplished resume, and possesses amazing technique. Comparisons to Oscar Peterson and Art Tatum are not uncommon.
