Building Bridges at Oslo Concert Hall

Second of Jazz in collaboration with Mark Whitfield is introducing a new concept for celebrating jazz music on the International Jazz Day 2017. For the very first time we will present a simulcast performance between Smalls Jazz Club in New York and the Oslo Concert Hall in Oslo, Norway. Davis Whitfield brings his band The Maniacs Of The Fourth Dimension to the stage at Smalls while Espen Berg Trio graces the stage of the famed Oslo Concert Hall. Both trios will be playing their own original compositions. Furthermore, the two trios will honor the late composer and pianist Kenny Kirkland by performing their interpretations of two of his compositions.
