Alef Collectif is the meeting of six young musicians from different backgrounds driven by the same desire to share their music. Rhythms and harmonies blend together in this sextet, inspired by funk and jazz. The group was first formed in September 2019 around Ornella Noulet's alto saxophone, Stéphane Dardour's double bass, and Pierre Sutter's keyboard. A few months later, the group expanded to become Alef Collectif, with Gaspard Moglia's trombone, Arlet Feuillard's percussion and Ricardo Abi Haila's drums.

Alef Collectif est la rencontre de six jeunes musicien·ne·s d’horizons différents animé·e·s par le même désir de partager leur musique. Les rythmes et les harmonies se mêlent dans ce sextet, inspiré par le funk et le jazz. Le groupe s’est constitué d’abord en septembre 2019 autour du saxophone alto d’Ornella Noulet, de la contrebasse de Stéphane Dardour, et du clavier de Pierre Sutter. Quelques mois après, le groupe s’agrandit et devient le Alef Collectif, avec le trombone de Gaspard Moglia, les percussions d’Arlet Feuillard et la batterie de Ricardo Abi Haila.
