Clélya Abraham is the jazz pianist with Caribbean accents to follow very closely!!Coming from a family of musicians, Clélya Abraham developed a passion for composition very early on. Little by little, her efforts are concentrated around the piano, the young musician feeling more intimate with the instrument that allows her to create. At the age of 18, she turned more particularly to Jazz, Nu Soul and World Music (Africa, Caribbean, Reunion, Brazil), styles in which she flourished thanks to the freedom given by the improvisation. Following numerous encounters during her years of study at the CRR in Paris, then at the Center des Musiques Didier Lockwood, and after two years of residence at the Baiser Salé Jazz-Club, the young pianist is at the start of a career in full expansion. . She multiplies the concerts in various projects, as a leader or sidewoman (Abraham Trio, Maë Defays, Crafting quintet, Teddy Sorrès, Ora project, etc…). This third year of residence is therefore an opportunity for her to deepen her various projects, but above all to continue to explore and share new experiences, with renowned musicians such as Arnaud Dolmen, Tilo Bertholo, Balthazar Naturel, Sélène Saint-Aimé , Samuel F'hima, Antonin Fresson... Created in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain niche gave birth to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, allowing young artists to experience the stage, to prowl a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. Clélya Abraham est la pianiste de jazz aux accents caribéens à suivre de très près !! Issue d'une famille de musiciens, Clélya Abraham développe très tôt une passion pour la composition. Peu à peu, ses efforts se concentrent autour du piano, la jeune musicienne se sentant plus intime avec l'instrument qui lui permet de créer. A l’âge de 18 ans, elle se tourne plus particulièrement vers le Jazz, la Nu Soul et les Musiques du Monde (Afrique, Caraïbes, Réunion, Brésil), styles dans lesquels elle s’épanouit grâce à la liberté donnée par l’improvisation. Suite à de nombreuses rencontres durant ses années d’étude au CRR de Paris, puis au Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood, et après deux ans de résidence au Baiser Salé Jazz-Club, la jeune pianiste est au début d’une carrière en pleine expansion. Elle multiplie les concerts dans des projets variés, en tant que leader ou sidewoman (Abraham Trio, Maë Defays, Crafting quintet, Teddy Sorrès, Ora project, etc…). Cette troisième année de résidence est donc pour elle l'occasion d'approfondir ses différents projets, mais surtout de continuer à explorer et partager de nouvelles expériences, avec des musiciens de renom comme Arnaud Dolmen, Tilo Bertholo, Balthazar Naturel, Sélène Saint-Aimé, Samuel F’hima, Antonin Fresson...
