Alexis Valet invites American saxophonist Matt Chalk. After a too-short two-year stint in Paris, Matt Chalk has returned to live in Brooklyn. Rarely seen in Europe, he will be playing alongside French vibraphonist Alexis Valet at 38Riv on June 10. Accompanied by a swinging, reality-defying rhythm section featuring Simon Chivallon on piano, Luca Fattorini on double bass and Pierre-Eden Guilbaud on drums, they will be exploring standards from the golden age of jazz.
